You can upload pics less than 1 MB in size by hitting choose file in the attachment section, right under the subject in the "Post Reply" screen.

The easier way (and the way that won't cause us to approach our attachment limit quickly) is to copy the URL of the picture after you've uploaded it to another site.

I don't think there is an easy way to do that if you are using Internet Explorer, but in Firefox all you have to do is right click on the picture after you've put it on Flickr, Facebook, or another sharing site, and then hit "Copy Image Location."

Then come back here, right click in your reply, and hit paste.

Then highlight the link that you just pasted in, and click on the 4th icon from the left in the second row of the "Add Tags" section above the reply box (when you scroll over it it will say "Insert Image"). The one that looks like this:

Now your image will show up in your reply, just like this one:
